On November 21, 2024, Rep. Spanberger expressed disappointment over Speaker Johnson and the House GOP majority’s movement towards another Farm Bill extension. She emphasized that Congress must address the needs of farmers, ranchers, and rural business owners across both her Commonwealth and the country. “While I am disappointed that Speaker Johnson and the House GOP majority are moving toward yet another Farm Bill extension, Congress must address the needs of the farmers, ranchers, and rural business owners across our Commonwealth and country.”
