On November 20, 2024, Rep. Spanberger reminded her constituents about the ongoing Medicare Open Enrollment period, which is available through December 7. Later that day, Rep. Spanberger highlighted a significant legislative development with the introduction of her bipartisan China Financial Threat Mitigation Act in the Senate. The legislation had previously passed in the House of Representatives. In her announcement on social media, she stated: “Congress must do more to strengthen America’s response to emerging financial threats from the Chinese Communist Party.” She emphasized that this step is crucial for protecting U.S. economic interests.
