All Saints Catholic Church recently issued the following announcement.

The following dates & times are confirmed for server training this year.

New Altar Server Training

New servers must be in 5th grade or above and also at least 10 years old.

As in previous years, new servers will need to attend two (2) new server sessions before being scheduled.

  • Tuesday, September 21, 4:00 – 5:00 PM: New Server Training for 5 – 12 graders new to serving.
  • Monday, September 27, 6:00 – 7:00 PM: New Server Training for 5 – 12 graders new to serving.
  • Tuesday, September 28, 6:00 – 7:00 PM: New Server Training for 5 – 12 graders new to serving.

Existing servers who did not attend a session this summer about COVID procedures:

You should attend one of the above sessions for New Altar Server Training.

Cross Bearer and Thurifer Training

  • Monday, September 27, 7:00 – 7:30 PM: Cross Bearer Training for returning 9 – 12 Graders who would like to learn how to be a Cross Bearer
  • Tuesday, September 28, 7:00 – 7:30 PM: Thurifer training for returning 9 – 12 Graders who would like to learn to use the incense at Mass

This year only — If you are a returning server, and attended a session during the summer, you do not need to attend any of the training sessions unless you are in high school and wish to learn how to be a Cross Bearer or Thurifer.If you have further questions or are no longer interested in serving, please let Mrs. Pechiney (lpechiney@allsaintsva.org) know.
