The Bridgewater Eagles, with former Patriot High School standout Matthew Bishop on their roster, recorded a 12-4 win over the Pomona-Pitzer Sagehens in an NCAA Division III baseball game held at 1 p.m. Sunday, March 1.
The teams faced off at Alumni Field, marking their first meeting against the Sagehens for the season.
Bishop pitched one inning, giving up two earned runs and finished with three walks and two strikeouts.
The Eagles are set to face the Whittier Poets at 2 p.m. on Monday, March 2, at Hugh B. Mendez Stadium for their next matchup.
