Chaplain Perez has been recognized by the Human Rights Commission for his ongoing work to support human and civil rights in the community. According to the commission, Perez was honored for his “tireless contributions to human and civil rights in our community.” His efforts within the ADC were highlighted as a significant factor in his selection for the Human Rights Award.

Perez’s work with the ADC has focused on improving conditions and advocating for fairness and equality, which led to this recognition from the Human Rights Commission.
