TJ Bethea, a former Potomac High School star, was part of the Christopher Newport Captains team that secured a 59-57 victory over the Randolph-Macon Yellow Jackets in the NCAA Division III Basketball Tournament on Friday, March 13.

The matchup was held at 7 p.m. at Crenshaw Gymnasium and marked the teams’ first meeting of the tournament.

Christopher Newport will play its next tournament game Thursday, March 19, at 1 p.m. at Allen County War Memorial Coliseum.
