Christopher Newport, which features former Gainesville High School standout Madison McKenzie, fell 61-55 to the Washington and Lee Generals on Saturday, March 7, in the NCAA Division III Basketball Tournament.

The matchup at Holekamp Gym, scheduled for 8 p.m., marked the team’s first tournament game against the Washington and Lee Generals.
