City Announcement: Starting 01/10/2022, Facial Coverings Required at All City Facilities

City of Manassas Park issued the following announcement on Jan. 7

Due to the rising number of cases, exposure rate, and increased burden on our local hospital system, and in accordance with CDC recommendations, the City will require mask wearing in public indoor settings, effective Monday, January 10, 2022. All staff, customers, and visitors over the age of 2 will be required to wear a facial covering in all city facilities, unless said individuals have a qualifying condition IAW CDC guidance. This measure is intended to protect staff and residents as well as to reduce the hospitalization rates and mitigate the impact to our local hospital infrastructure. We thank you in advanced for your cooperation.
