The Clarion Golden Eagles, featuring former Woodbridge High School standout Luke Pietrandrea, dropped an 8-6 decision to the Kutztown Golden Bears in their NCAA Division II baseball contest at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, March 14.

The matchup was hosted at North Campus Field. This marked the teams’ second meeting this season. The Golden Eagles were also defeated in their earlier contest on Saturday, March 14, losing 12-4 to the Golden Bears.

Pietrandrea pitched 1.1 innings, giving up two earned runs, walking two batters, and striking out one.

The Golden Eagles will play next at Mylan Park against the Fairmont State Fighting Falcons, with the game set for Tuesday, March 17, at 2 p.m.
