Residents are invited to attend the first Courthouse Fair on the Square, which will take place from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, November 8, 2025, at the Judicial Center in Manassas, Virginia.

Courthouse squares have played a central role in American counties for centuries, serving as important locations for civic life and reflecting local traditions and history. The courthouse in Prince William County has moved several times as the area developed from its colonial origins to its current status as a suburban community. The present Judicial Center is now seen as a focal point for county activities.

The event is free and open to families. It will feature participation from local agencies and organizations, food trucks, live demonstrations, and interactive activities. Jacqueline Smith, Clerk of the 31st Judicial Circuit Court, is hosting the fair with Glendall Hill, Prince William County Sheriff, and support from the Office of Community Safety.

The fair will also act as an official drop-off site for the second annual Pet Supply Drive. Donations collected at the event will be distributed among local animal organizations including Manassas City Animal Shelter, Hope & Serenity Farm Sanctuary, Prince William County Animal Shelter, and Byrdie’s Buddies.

Community groups or public officials who want to take part can contact Candi Choi at the Office of the Circuit Court Clerk by email.
