A Dunnsville resident has been sentenced to six years and eight months in federal prison after being convicted of distributing methamphetamine and selling a firearm to a convicted felon.

Court documents show that Brian Keith Anderson, 48, was involved in seven controlled drug transactions with law enforcement between January 16, 2024, and February 25, 2025. During these operations, Anderson distributed more than 117 grams of methamphetamine. On June 14, 2024, he also sold a handgun along with drugs to someone he knew had a felony conviction.

Investigators searched Anderson’s home and vehicle on March 5. They found $1,160 in cash, nine firearms with magazines and ammunition, two digital scales containing methamphetamine residue, and an LSD tab.

Special Assistant U.S. Attorney Eric Gilliland from the Virginia Attorney General’s Office and Assistant U.S. Attorney Angela Mastandrea prosecuted the case.
