Registration remains open for the 2025 First Tee Prince William County (PWC) Benefit Tournament, scheduled for Monday, October 13 at Forest Greens Golf Club. The annual event raises funds to support First Tee of Prince William County, a program that uses golf as a platform to teach youth important life lessons and leadership skills.

According to organizers, last year’s tournament generated more than $9,000 for the program. “Teaming up with experts in positive youth development, First Tee helps kids become good golfers and even better people,” according to the announcement.

First Tee Prince William County began offering its curriculum in summer 2002. Since then, its Certification Program has reached over 4,000 unique young people across Northern Virginia. In addition to this core programming, the organization’s School Program operates in 36 elementary schools throughout Prince William County each year, serving more than 25,000 students.

The local chapter is based at Lake Ridge Park Golf & Marina in Woodbridge but also provides activities at all three county golf courses: Forest Greens Golf Course, Prince William Golf Course and Lake Ridge Golf Course.

Registration for the benefit tournament closes on Wednesday, October 8 at noon.
