Governor Glenn Youngkin has announced a new round of appointments to various state boards across Virginia. The selections span several sectors, including agriculture, education, health and human resources, labor, legislative matters, public safety, and veterans affairs.

The agricultural sector will see appointments to the Potato Board, Soybean Board, and State Certified Seed Board. In education, members have been named to the Student Advisory Board.

Within health and human resources, appointments include the Advisory Board on Art Therapy, Advisory Board on Respiratory Care, State Board of Social Services, and the Statewide Independent Living Council. An independent appointment was made to the Virginia Commonwealth University Health System Authority Board of Directors.

For labor issues, individuals were selected for the Board for Hearing Aid Specialists and Opticians. The Capitol Square Preservation Council received an appointment under legislative boards.

In public safety and homeland defense, new members join the Virginia Sexual and Domestic Violence Program Professional Standards Committee. For veterans and defense affairs, appointments were made to the Joint Leadership Council of Veterans Service Organizations.
