Governor Glenn Youngkin has announced new appointments to several state boards. The announcement includes positions across various sectors such as commerce, health, and transportation.
Among the appointments are roles on the Tobacco Region Revitalization Commission, which works to promote economic growth in tobacco-dependent communities, and the Virginia African American Advisory Board, which advises on issues affecting African American residents in the state. Other appointments include members for the Southeastern Public Service Authority and the Board of Medicine.
Additionally, individuals have been appointed to the Aerospace Advisory Council, a group that provides guidance on aerospace-related matters within Virginia.
