Governor Youngkin appoints members to multiple Virginia state boards

Governor Glenn Youngkin has announced new appointments to several state boards across Virginia. The appointments span a range of sectors, including agriculture, commerce, education, health, labor, natural resources, public safety, and veterans’ affairs.

The boards receiving new members include the State Certified Seed Board under Agriculture and Forestry; the Virginia Nuclear Energy Consortium Authority in Commerce and Trade; and the Board of Regents of Gunston Hall as well as the Board of Visitors of the Virginia School for the Deaf and the Blind in Education.

In Health and Human Resources, appointments were made to the Advisory Board on Music Therapy, Foundation for Healthy Youth Board of Trustees, State Child Fatality Review Team, Virginia Forensic Nursing Advisory Council, and Virginia Interagency Coordinating Council.

The Board for Professional and Occupational Regulation received new appointees in Labor. The Board of Historic Resources was included under Natural and Historic Resources.

Public Safety and Homeland Defense saw appointments to the Criminal Justice Services Board. In Veterans and Defense Affairs, new members were named to both the Board of Veterans Services and the Veterans Services Foundation Board of Trustees.
