Gubenko Leads the Patriots at the Grandover Collegiate

The George Mason University golf team finished the fall tournament schedule at the Grandover Collegiate, played this weekend in Greensboro, NC.

Junior Nikita Gubenko led the Patriots with a three-round 222 (+6). He carded a two-under-par 70 today, his best round of the tournament, at the 6,800 West Course.   

Freshman Samir Davidov and grad student Milan Matneja finished three strokes back of Gubenko.

Host UNC Greensboro won the two-day 17-team tournament with four players finishing in the top 10 individually.

Mason will open the spring championship season at the Advantage Golf Partners Intercollegiate in Palm City, Florida on February 12.
