Manassas Park City Schools recently issued the following announcement.

I’m incredibly excited to start the 2021-2022 school year at MPCS!

I have had a great summer working with Cougar staff and settling into Manassas Park. This community is special, and I’m honored to be here with you.

As we approach the start of the year, I want to bring a few important dates to your attention:

August 16: 6th and 9th grade home visits are back! From 5 – 7 PM staff from the middle and high schools will personally welcome incoming students.

August 17: Open houses at Cougar Elementary and MP High Schools. CES will welcome students from 3 – 6 PM, and MPHS will welcome students from 4 – 7 PM.

August 18: Orientation for both 6th and 9th grade students. Watch for more information from the Middle and High Schools.

August 19: Open houses at Manassas Park Elementary and Middle Schools. Students can visit MPE from 3 – 6 PM and the Middle School from 4 – 7 PM.

August 23: Cougar Elementary will host Kindergarten Orientation to welcome our newest mini Cougars.

Watch for school newsletters for specific information for your student(s).
