Prince William Chamber of Commerce issued the following announcement on Sept. 1

For tens of millions of people in America, a daily meal isn’t a choice between different dishes. It’s a choice between food and other crucial needs—like medicine, electricity, rent, or childcare. This September, join us for Hunger Action Month by becoming one of our Hunger Action Heroes and help us serve the Northern Virginia community.

COMMIT TO END HUNGER!

We welcome any business, organization, or group interested in becoming a House of Mercy Hunger Action Hero by hosting a food drive over the next 12 months. No group is too big or too small. All you have to do is commit to donating collected food items and we give you all the tools you need to promote your food drive.

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO DO TO BECOME ONE OF OUR HEROES?

>Select a few Friday morning dates from the list below to drop off your collected donations.

>Fill out the form on this page to commit to one of those dates and include your organization logo.

>Watch your email for our confirmation of your drop-off date assignment.

>Promote your food drive to colleagues, friends, and family. The start date can be for any length of time leading up to your selected drop-off date.

>Drop off your collected items at House of Mercy on your assigned Friday morning date before 11 am.

THE ITEMS YOU’LL RECEIVE INCLUDE:

  • Branded Downloadable PDF and JPG Flyers
  • Social Media and Website Ad Banners and Graphics
  • Inclusion on Our Website and on Social Media as a Hunger Action Hero!
