Josh Oduro Earns Second NABC All-District Honor

George Mason University men’s basketball forward Josh Oduro has been named to the NABC All-District 4 Team for the second time in as many seasons.

The first two-time First Team All-A-10 selection in school history, Oduro is the seventh player in program annals to earn multiple all-district selections.

Oduro’s exceptional efforts in conference play were a driving force in the Patriots matching program bests in A-10 wins (11) and A-10 Championship seed (5) in 2022-23.

A, two-time A-10 Player of the Week (Jan. 16, Feb. 20), Oduro led the A-10 in rebounding (9.1 rpg) and offensive rebounding (3.11 orpg) in league play and ranked sixth in scoring (17.6) and eighth in field goal percentage (.580). An outstanding all-around player, he also was t-12th in blocks (0.9 bpg), t-21st in steals (1.1 spg) and 23rd in assists (2.3 apg).

The Gainesville, Va., product lef the A-10 and ranked 23rd nationally with 13 double-doubles. He also ranked in the top-50 nationally in overall field goal percentage (.551). He tallied 10+ points in all 18 Atlantic 10 contests and poured in 20+ points in eight contests overall.

Oduro was one of just 20 active players nationally with 1300+ career points, 700+ rebounds, 150+ assists and 100+ blocks. He is one of four players in George Mason history to accomplish the feat.

In Mason’s record books, Oduro now ranks 19th all-time in scoring (1,371 points), 11th in rebounding (721) and sixth in blocks (119).
