The annual Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics is set to take place on June 10, 2025. The event marks the commencement of the Special Olympics Games in Richmond, Virginia, with a torch lit in Arlington and carried by police officers and Special Olympians.

Participants and supporters will assemble at the Charlie T. Deane Central District Station located at 5036 Davis Ford Rd., Woodbridge (22192). The runners are scheduled to be transported at 9 a.m. from the Police Association Hall at 14288 Independent Hill Dr., Manassas (20112) to the starting point.

The race route begins at Davis Ford Road, continues to Hoadly Road, then onto Dumfries Road (Route 234), before concluding down Independent Hill Drive to the Police Association Hall. Special Athletes who choose to participate will start from the driveway and run towards the Association Hall building, completing a total distance of six miles.
