Brennyn Higgins, a former Kettle Run High School standout, and her current collegiate team, the Lees-McRae Bobcats, were defeated 68-53 by the Lincoln Memorial Railsplitters in the NCAA Division II Basketball Tournament on Friday, March 13.
The matchup started at 5 p.m. at B. Frank Tex Turner Arena and marked Lees-McRae’s first game against the Lincoln Memorial Railsplitters during the tournament.
