In the week ending Feb. 28, one gas station in Manassas city sold midgrade gas at the lowest reported price of $3.31 per gallon, according to customer reports submitted to GasBuddy.
The county registered an average of $3.47 per gallon for midgrade gas.
Manassas city had 11 of 17 reported gas stations offering midgrade gas.
The average reported price for a gallon of midgrade gas in Virginia was $3.29, unchanged from the previous week.
U.S. gas prices continue to decline after reaching their lowest level since 2021, according to GasBuddy. The group projects the national average could dip below $2.80 per gallon during the holiday period, driven by increased oil production and lower seasonal demand.
