On Saturday, March 14, Preston White, a former Gainesville High School player, and his current team, the Mary Washington Eagles, secured a 73-68 win over UW La Crosse in the NCAA Division III Basketball Tournament.
The match was held at Ron Rosner Arena at 6 p.m. and marked the first tournament game between the Mary Washington Eagles and the UW La Crosse Eagles.
Mary Washington’s upcoming matchup is set for Thursday, March 19 at 9 p.m. at the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum.
