On Saturday, March 7, Preston White, a former Gainesville High School standout, helped his college team, the Mary Washington Eagles, secure an 81-64 win over the Amherst Mammoths in the NCAA Division III Basketball Tournament.

The contest was held at Ron Rosner Arena at 7:30 p.m. and marked the teams’ first meeting in the tournament.

The Eagles are scheduled to play next on Saturday, March 14 at 6 p.m. at Ron Rosner Arena.
