Residents and businesses in Occoquan’s historic district will have access to special parking permits for the upcoming Fall Arts and Crafts Show. Permits allow parking under the Route 123 bridge from 10:00 pm on Friday, September 26th, until 6:30 pm on Sunday, September 28th.

According to town officials, each business or family is eligible for only one permit due to a limited number of spaces. Permits will be distributed at Town Hall starting Tuesday, September 23rd, between 9:00 am and 4:00 pm. They must be picked up in person.

Parking restrictions will also affect the commercial district. Parking along Mill and Commerce Streets, as well as parts of Union, Ellicott, and Washington Streets, will be suspended on a rolling basis beginning at 9:00 pm on Friday, September 26th. These restrictions may remain in place until as late as 9:00 pm on Sunday, September 28th.

The measures are being implemented to manage traffic and parking during the event.
