On Monday, April 28, former Battlefield High School standout Jackson Baird’s current college team, the Christopher Newport Captains, won 21-11 in their NCAA Division III baseball game against the Hampden-Sydney Tigers.

The game took place at Ty Cobb Ballpark – Wurdeman Stadium. This was their second matchup against the Tigers this season.

It was the last Christopher Newport Captains’ game this season
