On Friday, March 6, Preston White, a former Gainesville High School standout, played for the Mary Washington Eagles as they defeated the Worcester State Lancers 86-55 in the NCAA Division III Basketball Tournament.
The matchup started at 7:30 p.m. at Ron Rosner Arena and marked the first meeting between Mary Washington and Worcester State in this tournament.
The Eagles are set to compete again at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, March 7 at Ron Rosner Arena.
