The Prince William Board of County Supervisors announced on April 13 that its members have been invited to attend the Thoroughfare Historic Park Master Plan Public Meeting, scheduled for Saturday, April 25.
The meeting is set to take place from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at Tyler Elementary School’s multipurpose room and gymnasium, located at 14500 John Marshall Highway in Gainesville.
According to the announcement, no votes will be taken during the event and county business will not be transacted. The purpose of the meeting is for members of the public and officials to discuss matters related to the Thoroughfare Historic Park Master Plan.
Public meetings such as this one offer an opportunity for community engagement and allow residents to learn more about local projects and planning efforts. Attendees can expect information sharing but should not anticipate any official decisions or actions by county supervisors during this session.
