Prince William County hosts career expo featuring library job opportunities

Prince William Public Libraries will take part in the Prince William County Career Expo on October 30, 2025. The event is scheduled from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Hylton Performing Arts Center in Manassas.

The career expo, organized by Prince William County Human Resources, will include more than 20 county agencies. These agencies will offer information about full-time, part-time, and seasonal jobs, as well as internships and volunteer roles. Job seekers can explore positions ranging from entry-level to professional roles and may have the opportunity for on-site interviews and contingent job offers.

Attendees interested in library careers can learn about various opportunities at Prince William Public Libraries (PWPL), including customer service, circulation, programming, outreach, and technical services. Library staff are described as making a meaningful impact in the community.

According to organizers, “Prince William County offers diverse opportunities with purpose with excellent benefits and competitive compensation across many fields.”

Other participating agencies include Adult Detention Center; Area Agency on Aging; Commonwealth’s Attorney; Community Services; Criminal Justice Services; Development Services; Economic Development and Tourism; Elections; Facilities & Fleet Management; Finance; Fire & Rescue; Housing & Community Development; Human Resources; Parks & Recreation; Police; Public Health; Public Safety Communications; Public Works; Sheriff’s Office; and Transportation.
