The Prince William County Procurement Office is set to host its second Annual Procurement Expo on June 11, 2025, at the Hylton Performing Arts Center. The event will run from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and aims to provide vendors with insights into contracting opportunities and the procurement needs of county agencies.

Chief Procurement Officer Shana Terry highlighted the expo’s role in attracting a diverse range of vendors. “The expo is an opportunity to attract a diverse range of vendors, which increases competition and allows the county to access a broader range of goods and services,” she stated. Terry also emphasized that engaging with high-quality suppliers can enhance the efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness of county services.

This year’s theme, “Strengthening Partnerships,” focuses on fostering dialogue and collaboration between the county and vendors. Vendors will have the chance to connect directly with department representatives to learn about upcoming contracting opportunities, building relationships that could lead to future collaborations.

The event will feature approximately 20 county departments alongside procurement staff. It is open to anyone interested in doing business with the county, providing a platform for networking with other companies and gaining valuable insights into the procurement process.

Attendees visiting exhibit tables will learn about goods and services procured by departments for supporting county operations. Additionally, by engaging with vendors, county staff can explore new technologies and innovative solutions for modernizing service delivery.

“Departments will showcase projects and mission critical needs,” said Terry. This year’s expo has been expanded to include local procurement entities such as Prince William County Public Schools, Manassas City Public Schools, Prince William Water, Loudoun County Procurement, and various Chamber of Commerce organizations.

Last year’s event attracted over 300 vendors eager to engage with Prince William County government.
