Prince William County has launched a new podcast titled “Innovate & Elevate: A TMO Podcast,” which aims to provide insights into the county’s innovative programs and transformative improvements. The podcast is produced by the county’s Transformation Management Office (TMO) and offers a behind-the-scenes look at how Prince William County is evolving to better serve its residents and businesses.
Each episode of the podcast will delve into various innovative initiatives, process improvements, and bold ideas that are reshaping service delivery in the county. Listeners will hear directly from those involved in these changes, gaining an understanding of the strategies and stories behind them.
County Executive Chris Shorter emphasized the importance of the TMO in fostering innovation within the organization. He stated, “The Transformation Management Office is critical to driving and supporting innovation across the organization. By highlighting these efforts through the Innovate & Elevate podcast, we’re showcasing the creativity, collaboration and commitment of our employees who are working every day to build a more responsive, effective government for our residents.”
Lisa Madron, Chief Transformation Officer and director of the TMO, noted that “The goal of this podcast is to connect our employees, partners and residents to the innovation that’s actively reshaping our government. We’re not just talking about change—we’re living it, and this platform gives voice to the individuals who are leading that charge every day.”
The first episode highlights an initiative by the TMO aimed at revitalizing volunteerism through a Volunteer Summit. This effort involves collaboration with over 70 community partners to enhance service delivery capabilities.
