Prince William County Parks and Recreation has announced the opening of four outdoor pools and two waterparks to help residents cool off during the hot July weather. The facilities offer a variety of features for visitors of all ages.
Birchdale Pool in Dale City is described as a family favorite, with amenities including a full-service concessions area, a diving board, and a gated baby pool. It is important to note that Birchdale Pool is closed every Wednesday.
Graham Park Pool in Triangle offers zero depth entry and water spray features, making it an ideal spot for families seeking summer fun.
Hammil Mill Pool in Woodbridge includes various small water slides and numerous lounge chairs for relaxation. This pool is closed every Thursday.
Veterans Park Pool at Veterans Memorial Park provides a 50-meter outdoor pool with two 2-story slides and graduated entry suitable for young children. Concessions are available nearby.
SplashDown Waterpark covers 13 acres and features multiple waterslides, a lap pool, a Lazy River, and attractions for toddlers such as pint-sized slides and bubblers. Visitors can also enjoy Big Kahuna Beach, five concession areas, a souvenir shop, and lockers.
Waterworks Waterpark at Andrew Leitch Park offers fast slides, jungle walks, zero-depth pool entry, and toddler-friendly wading pools with slides. Concessions and lockers are also available on-site.
Proper swim attire is required at all locations to ensure cleanliness and safety. Prince William County Parks staff reserve the right to deny access to those not wearing approved swimwear.
