The Prince William County Police Department will hold its fifth annual community fair on Saturday, September 13, 2025. The event is scheduled from noon to 4 p.m. at Sean Connaughton Plaza, located at 1 County Complex Court in Woodbridge.

According to the department, the fair aims to celebrate the county’s diversity and promote unity among local communities. Attendees can expect displays that highlight various aspects of police work, along with activities such as pet adoptions. Other county public-safety agencies and government organizations will also have displays at the event. Live music and food trucks are planned for those attending.

Police Chief Peter Newsham has extended an invitation to all county residents through a video message.

Background investigators and recruiters will be available at the fair for those interested in learning about careers in law enforcement. The department encourages applicants from diverse backgrounds and invites interested individuals to contact the Prince William County Police Personnel Bureau or visit their recruiting website at www.joinpwcpd.org.

The department also maintains a presence on social media platforms for community updates.
