The Prince William County Police Department will take part in the annual National Night Out on Tuesday, August 5, 2025. The department is encouraging residents to lock their doors, turn on outdoor lights, and spend the evening outside with neighbors as a show of community care.

National Night Out is organized by the Community Engagement Section of the Police Department. It aims to foster healthy neighborhoods by helping neighbors connect, celebrate community spirit, and work towards safer living environments.

The event also aims to build positive relationships between the community and law enforcement. Programs like Community Watch and National Night Out are designed to create a network that prevents crime and improves life quality in the county.

Residents across the county will host motorcade stops and invite police officers for refreshments. “Join us, won’t you?” says the announcement.
