Prince William County Police thank community for supporting Torch Run 2025

The 2025 Law Enforcement Torch Run, aimed at supporting Special Olympics Virginia, took place on June 10 in Woodbridge. Team PWCPD managed to raise over $3,100 for the athletes participating in the Special Olympics.

The Prince William County Police Department expressed gratitude towards the community for its support in fundraising efforts. They also extended their thanks to sponsors and vendors who contributed to this year’s Torch Run.

Funds collected during the event will benefit Special Olympics, an organization backed by law enforcement officers across the United States and in 45 other countries.
