Prince William County has announced that real estate taxes for the first half of 2025 are due on July 15, 2025. Residents who have not received a tax bill and believe they should have can contact the Taxpayer Services Office at (703) 792-6710 or via email.

The Taxpayer Services office is open for in-person visits from Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., while other services are available until 5:00 p.m. A late payment penalty of 10% will be added to any unpaid balance after the due date, with interest accruing at a rate of 10% per year until fully paid.

Payments can be made electronically through tax.pwcgov.org or by phone using jurisdiction code 1036. Alternatively, payments can be mailed to PO Box 70519, Philadelphia, PA or made in person at designated offices during business hours.

For those whose mortgage companies handle property taxes, it is advised to contact them promptly for guidance on having the company pay the county directly.
