The Prince William County Republican Committee (PWCGOP) used its social media platform on February 19, 2026, to address several local and state political issues and outreach efforts.

In a post from that morning, the committee criticized U.S. Senators Tim Kaine and Mark Warner, stating, “Kaine and Warner defund FEMA while Sh*T fills the Potomac.” The message tagged KPWB_org and referenced ongoing concerns about federal funding for emergency management agencies.

Later that afternoon, PWCGOP publicly thanked Virginia’s governor in another post: “Thanks @GovernorVA”.

Shortly after, the committee issued a call to action directed at local Republicans in Manassas Park: “Do you live in Manassas Park? Are you a Republican? Are you interested in running for public office? Let’s talk: https://t.co/v5DIfM4vQi @ManassasParkGov”

The Prince William County Republican Committee is an official arm of the Republican Party serving Prince William County, Virginia. U.S. Senators Tim Kaine and Mark Warner have previously faced criticism from some conservative groups regarding their votes on federal disaster relief funding. In recent years, concerns about water quality in the Potomac River have also been raised by both environmental advocates and local politicians.
