The Prince William County Republican Committee (PWCGOP) posted a series of statements on X (formerly Twitter) regarding Virginia Democrats and the campaign of Abigail Spanberger. The posts were made between September 19 and 20, 2025, and referenced early voting turnout as well as issues surrounding transgender rights in schools.

On September 19, PWCGOP claimed that Virginia Democrats and the Spanberger campaign were struggling: “Virginia Democrats and the @SpanbergerForVA campaign in full blown PANIC mode! Abby’s Billionaire funded get out the vote operation failed miserably to motivate the Democrat base to vote early on the first day of early voting! @guzman4virginia @CandiMundonKing”.

Later that day, another post questioned Abigail Spanberger’s statements on school bathroom policies: “The CIA training comes in handy, but what the hell did @SpanbergerForVA say? Bottom line – she supports boys in girls’ bathrooms. She’s pathetic Cc @CandiMundonKing @guzman4virginia”.

In a subsequent post from September 20, PWCGOP referenced candidate Candi Mundon King: “It’s been a long day – even @CandiMundonKing will have a giggle at this one.”

Abigail Spanberger is a Democratic member of Congress who has represented Virginia’s 7th congressional district since 2019. She is known for her previous service as a CIA officer. In recent years, debates over early voting strategies and policies affecting transgender students in schools have become prominent issues in Virginia state politics.
