City of Manassas Park issued the following announcement on Feb. 18
At its meeting on March 1, 2022, the Governing Body will consider conveying City-owned real property to the Economic Development Authority of the City of Manassas Park, Virginia (the “EDA”) and then entering into a ground lease for the property with the EDA and the Virginia Railway Express (the “VRE”) for purposes of constructing a new parking garage adjacent to the VRE commuter rail station. The EDA will consider both the conveyance and the ground lease at its meeting on March 2, 2022.
