The Occoquan Town Council is now seeking candidates to serve the remainder of Councilmember Bienia’s term on the Town Council. The appointment will be through December 31, 2022. Residents interested in volunteering to serve the remainder of the term should submit their Resume and Statement of Interest to the Town Manager by 5 p.m. on Friday, April 15, 2022. The Town Council will consider applicants at their April 19, 2022 meeting.
Qualifications
- At least 18 years of age at the time of appointment
- Are a resident of Virginia and the Town for at least one year at time of appointment
- Are registered to vote with the Prince William County Registrar at the time of appointment
- Attend Council meetings typically on the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays of each month at 7:00 p.m. at Town Hall
- Vote on community issues
- Volunteer position
