Abigail Spanberger promotes Medicare enrollment deadline and engages with community

Rep. Abigail Spanberger, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Virginia’s 7th district, has been actively engaging with her constituents through various initiatives and events as reflected in her recent social media updates.

On December 2, 2024, Rep. Spanberger reminded her followers of the upcoming deadline for Medicare Open Enrollment. She urged individuals not to delay and provided resources for signing up or comparing options: "Medicare Open Enrollment ends this Saturday, December 7! Don't wait — visit https://t.co/N6TzCWGurk or call 1-800-MEDICARE to sign up, compare your options, and find the right plan for you."

The following day, on December 3, she shared an update about a visit to the Central Rappahannock Regional Library where she and her team donated books from the Library of Congress. In her post, she expressed appreciation for the library staff: "My team was excited to stop by the Central Rappahannock Regional Library to donate books directly from the Library of Congress — and say hi to the library's wonderful staff!"

Later that same day, Rep. Spanberger participated in a gathering with local Workforce Development Board directors in Fredericksburg. She commended their efforts in supporting families and enhancing Virginia's workforce: "I was glad to join local Workforce Development Board directors from across our Commonwealth in Fredericksburg today! Thank you for all you do to invest in our workforce, support families, and make sure Virginia remains the best place to live, work, and raise a family."
