Governor Glenn Youngkin announced that Stratos Solutions Inc., a professional technical services company, will expand its operations in Fairfax County. The expansion involves a $1.58 million investment to acquire 5,000 square feet of office space, creating 28 jobs.

Governor Youngkin remarked on the expansion’s significance: “Stratos Solutions Inc.’s expansion in Fairfax County reflects the strength of Virginia’s national security and intelligence ecosystem.” He commended the company’s decision to invest in new space and create high-quality jobs in Virginia.

Secretary of Commerce and Trade Juan Pablo Segura emphasized the importance of this move: “Virginia is where mission-driven companies thrive, and Stratos Solutions Inc. is a prime example.” He highlighted Northern Virginia’s status as a hub for technical expertise.

The newly acquired office building at 14840 Conference Center Drive will meet increased demands from the intelligence community. Kevin Pratt, Chief Operating Officer of Stratos Solutions Inc., expressed pride in deepening roots in Fairfax County: “This expansion reflects both our continued growth and our enduring commitment to supporting the missions of the U.S. intelligence community.”

Founded in Fairfax County in 2003, Stratos Solutions Inc.’s employee-owners average over 20 years of experience with U.S. intelligence missions. The company specializes in systems engineering, concept innovation, acquisition strategy, technical strategy, program planning, application development, system delivery, integration tests, and mission operations.

Fairfax County Board of Supervisors Chairman Jeffrey C. McKay acknowledged Stratos’ commitment to the community: “Stratos Solutions Inc.’s groundbreaking work exemplifies the mission-driven excellence that defines the Fairfax County community.”

Senator Stella Pekarsky noted that companies investing locally benefit from world-class talent: “I am excited to see that Stratos Solutions Inc. has chosen to continue to expand in Fairfax County.”

Delegate Karrie K. Delaney praised Stratos’ partnership with the Virginia Economic Development Partnership (VEDP): “Their partnership…to bring almost 30 new, high-paying jobs to our community is a testament to our region’s role.”

The VEDP will support job creation through the Virginia Jobs Investment Program (VJIP), which offers consultative services and funding for recruitment and training activities.
