On Sunday, April 27, former Kettle Run High School standout Alexah Gordon’s current college team, the Christopher Newport Captains, won 2-0 in their NCAA Division III softball game against the Mary Washington Eagles.

The game took place at Captains Park. This was their second matchup against the Eagles this season.

The Captains’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, May 3 at 2 p.m. at Margie Knight Sea Gull Softball Stadium against Salisbury Sea Gulls.
