This year, the Virginia legal community successfully raised around $360,000, translating to more than 1.2 million meals for communities throughout Virginia.

Attorney General Jason Miyares has announced the winners of the 19th Annual Legal Food Frenzy. This event is a friendly competition among various law firms and legal entities in Virginia aimed at raising funds for local food banks. The initiative is a collaboration between the Young Lawyers Division of the Virginia Bar Association and the Federation of Virginia Food Banks.

For the fifth consecutive year, the Law Office of James Steele in Roanoke secured the Attorney General’s Cup. This award is given to the firm that donates the most per employee.

The collective efforts of participants in this year’s Legal Food Frenzy resulted in approximately $360,000 being raised, equivalent to over 1.2 million meals for residents of Virginia. Over its 19-year history, this charitable event has contributed about 26 million pounds of food.
