City Announcement: Governing Body to honor Veterans with Flag Raising Ceremony
Manassas Park Governing Body will be honoring all Veterans, past, present and future, with a symbolic flag raising ceremony at our new downtown City Hall located at 100 Park Central Plaza, Manassas Park, Virginia, 20111, on November 3, 2022 at 1 PM.
Back in August 2022, the City of Manassas Park Governing Body passed a resolution in honor of Veterans Day and to fly “Thank You Veterans” flag outside all City buildings throughout the month of November 2022. This flag raising ceremony weaves the City’s beginnings as housing for World War II Veterans and their growing families with Park Central, Virginia’s Newest Downtown. In July 2022, City of Manassas Park opened the new City Hall and Park Central.
More than three Manassas Park Governing Body members will be in attendance along with several distinguished members of various Veterans Service Organizations.
