Cost of college was unchanged for all students at the Aviation Institute of Maintenance-Manassas

Tuition and fees were unchanged for 2018-19 at the Aviation Institute of Maintenance-Manassas, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Virginia students paid $16,757 to attend the two-year private for-profit institution in both the 2017-18 and 2018-19 academic years.

Data shows 39 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 11 students received grants or scholarships totaling $57,787 and 18 students took out student loans totaling more than $140,284.

Including all undergraduates (188), 88 students used grants or scholarships totaling $393,314, and 134 students took out $1.6 million in federal student loans.
